GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

The Strategic Account Supply Management Analyst supports the Senior Manager, Strategic Account Supply Management and has a direct impact on the customer, sales, customer service, and supply chain teams. Their main function is to help provide outstanding service to key strategic customers.  The role includes building and refining fulfillment analysis and quality performance to our customers as well as analyzing changes to supply chain and sales processes to enhance the customer experience. This position will also provide robust and efficient support of information flows among the Drive teams and back to the customer.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maximize strategic customer line fill rate through analysis, coordination, and execution among the sales, planning, customer service, and operational teams
  • Identify gaps in supply and coordinate with the demand and buying teams to proactively prevent out of stocks whenever possible
  • Support Senior Manager, Strategic Account Supply Management in preparing customer performance analyses including root cause and proposed remediation
  • Support changes to Supply Chain processes and systems to improve productivity, reduce expenses and increase customer satisfaction with respect to strategic customers
  • Works cross-functionally to enable efficient flow of product through the supply chain
  • Assist in the development of performance metrics to accurately and effectively measure network performance related to strategic customer performance and benchmarking against previous internal performance as well as outside world class organizations
  • Collaborates with all departments to successfully implement continuous improvement activities
  • Recommends changes and facilitates solutions for improvement to the company’s ability to maintain and improve customer experience
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

  • Ability to prepare and analyze data and provide opportunities
  • Demonstrated skills in continuous learning, flexibility, customer focus, quality commitment and good relationships are required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both formal and informal communications
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Attention to detail and follow up
  • Experience of supply chain discipline, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory control, quality management, logistics, distribution and planning
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, Power Point)

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Supply Chain,  or other 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of progressive supply chain and/or customer service experience in a global manufacturing or distribution environment with proven track record
