Manufacturing and Inventory Control Supervisor

This position is responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineering and quality departments in set up and calibration tasks. Works with engineers in conducting experiments and/or collection data Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintaining records and documents of daily production and dispatched goods. • Proficient with ERP Plex System and DHR process. • Oversee planning of employee vacations and other time off requests. • Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations; this includes QSR and ISO Standards. • Manages and Controls the Issuing and verification of serial number labels according to procedures • Responsible for End of Day line clearance and Job Kitting setup. • Participates in the Non-Conforming Materials Review(NMR) decision process. • Identifies and implements corrective actions for manufacturing issues with Manufacturing Engineering. • Performs cycle count per program. • Participates on Assembly Floor Layout setup and maintenance • Performs and /or coordinates equipment setup and corrective, preventive and calibration maintenance as necessary. • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality process and procedure. • Oversees the supplying of materials to fabrication and stages material for assembly. • Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Oversees the rotation of inventories within the assembly floor and stock room. • Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, production planning and the purchasing department on material status. • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the quality policy, • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the quality policy and quality system. • Conducts yearly performances review for the staff with the assistance of the assembly supervisor and Director of Operations. • Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS: • Proficient understanding of written and verbal English and Spanish • Strong attention to details • Computer skills (basic). • Demonstrated technical aptitude, problem solving and teamwork skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor in Administration or Equivalent • Or 8 years’ experience in operations • Experience with GMP/Medical Device manufacturing field a plus • MRP Experience a plus
