Customer Questions and Answers

From your video it looks like the product is unsteady when being used as a cane. It looks like only 2 of the 4 feet touch the ground. This is what happens with the older version I have. I find it doesn't work well as a cane. Have you corrected this?

Asked by: sheilamerle
Thank you for your inquiry. That is the way it is designed. When being used as a cane one 2 of the legs will touch the ground. Thank you again, Jazmin @ Drive.

The adjustable 1.3lb cane is here: http://www.drivemedical.com/index.php/cane-seat-464.html The adjustable cane does not apparently have a page of its own. It is pictured on the above page, and the weight of the adjustable cane is given on that page as 2.3lb

I am about to buy a replacement cane sling seat. You say it's a sturdy four feet cane. My old one is unsteady because all 4 feet don't touch the ground evenly. Do all four feet have an even length to the floor now?

Customer Reviews

Cane/Sling Seat is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cane/Sling Seat I can't stand still for more than a few moments. This seat has been wonderful for going to museums and traveling. I can now stay long enough in front of a piece of art to absorb it. I have pinned on a shoulder strap on the foot end to carry it between uses. This would be an important addition to add - at least attachment hooks. The most critical thing to change is having all the feet even on the floor. With only two feet on the floor it is very unstable. The claim is that it is a stable four foot cane, but my model only has 2 touching the floor and that has been really difficult.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cane/sling seat I have two rollators, but find them limited in grocery shopping of fairly large purchases. (Too many groceries, then no place to sit.) With the cane seat, I can tuck it into a shopping cart while in the parking lot, then use it inside when I need to rest, as at the check-out.
