Bonsai Velocity Pneumatic Conserver

Description

The Bonsai Velocity is the most efficient pneumatic conserver on the market, enjoying more liter flow equivalencies, continuous flow settings, and a higher savings ratio than the competition. The Bonsai Velocity's decreased delivery time increases oxygen concentration provided to the patient, thus increases the ability to better maintain patient saturation levels, all while maintaining up to a 6:1 conservation ratio. The Bonsai Velocity delivers a uniform oxygen pulse which ensures that if you breathe faster, you will still receive the same amount of oxygen; unlike other products on the market.

Features

  • Delivers a uniform oxygen pulse from 14-40 breaths per minute
  • Delivers up to a 6:1 savings ratio
  • Easy to operate single selector knob
  • Fits easily in virtually any carry bag
  • Highest savings ratio on any pneumatic conserver
  • Lightweight, quiet operations, compact design
  • Liter flow increments: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, plus two CF settings, factory preset at 2 and 4 LPM
  • Operating pressure range: 200-3000 PSI
  • Senses a breath/delivers oxygen in the first half of the inspiratory cycle

We have several Bonsai that are coming back from patients. When we tested them they are auto pulsing on their own without a patient being hooked up to the regulator. Is there something we need to do different?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Device My 02 provider switched to this device about 2 yrs ago.... What a mistake!!!!..... every couple weeks I have to call for a replacement because it starts to pulse and will not stop.... I have done everything troubleshooting says to do including clearing out vent holes.... nothing works and I'm scared to death to take it out in my power wheelchair for fear it will start and I will run out of oxygen..... please improve this device before it kills someone!!!!..... I would rate this device a negative 10

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Conserving device, NOT! I'd like rate it -5 to 5 because when it works it is great but then I don't understand why every 1 to 4 weeks it starts dispensing puff after puff in rapid succession, I would like to rate at a negative 5 inhaling, and it will start this out of the blue. Change a bottle and go to set it at the 6 position I use and it will start. It happened more than once when I was out running around on my motorized wheel chair which meant I had to end my errands and go straight home on the 1 setting and still ran out 40 minutes from home one time and a little over 15 minutes another time. I can't describe the horror I experienced getting home and all I got was a sorry from the people the supply the device, and then told they're not authorized and cannot, due to insurance policies guide lines, supply a different type of device as a backup for situations such as these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bonsai oxygen conserving device is no good My wife has used supplemental oxygen since 2004. She had no problems until Medicare made her change oxygen suppliers in 2016. My wife has tried to use two Bonsai oxygen conserving devices since she changed suppliers and neither device has worked on pulse settings. Bonsai will only work on continuous flow settings.
