Our primary product lines include sleep therapy, pulmonary drug delivery, stationary and portable supplemental oxygen, homecare suction devices, and ENT Professional instruments. • This position will serve as a senior technician for the repair, test, and calibration of customer-owned units that are retuned to our Rialto, CA facility for either warranty or non-warranty service. This technician will be responsible for electro-mechanical evaluations, diagnostics, and component updates that are required to return units to their proper working specifications. • Assist in maintaining a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the Repair and Shipping missions effectively/efficiently • Serve as lead Repair Technician for the service of all DeVilbiss products that are routed to the West Coast facility. Daily duties in this role include assisting the West Coast Repair Supervisor in the following: • Train, motivate, evaluate and discipline (as required) all repair technicians and coordinators • Oversee the data entry for service orders and inventory transactions within the ERP system • Maintain all equipment regarding safety, preventative maintenance, and calibrations; order spare or replacement tools as required to maintain operational flow • Communicate trending data, failure data, and non-typical unit anomalies to the Engineering and Quality Control Departments. • Oversee part consumption and inventory stocking levels for repair components, including communication of component shortages to the Procurement and/or Repair Departments in Somerset • Enforce DeVilbiss safety policies, operating documents, and repair procedures to ensure DeVilbiss, OSHA, and FDA requirements. • Create an atmosphere where continuous improvement, increased throughput, and cost reduction are paramount. • Remain current on all DeVilbiss Product Change Notices (PCNs) • Participate in unit repair, receiving, testing, and packaging as time permits. • Perform repair operations including failure analysis, component replacement, product cleaning, computerized calibration, and final testing through the use of various electrical and mechanical gauges and equipment (pressure meters, flow meters, multi-meters, specialized PC software programs, and other manufacturing assembly jigs and fixtures). • Receive/log returned products and consumed components into the DeVilbiss ERP system. • Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment. • Communicate trends, defect data, and unit anomalies to department supervisor. • Serve as the team lead in the absence of the West Coast Repair Supervisor


• Associates Degree or higher in a technical or engineering discipline (electrical/mechanical troubleshooting exp. Preferred) • 3-5 years in product repair, warehousing, materials management or receiving in a manufacturing environment • Prior manufacturing assembly experience and use of hand help power tools required; standing, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; fine motor skills. • Technical training or past experience in the repair of electrical/mechanical equipment, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred. • Ability to work with minimal supervision, lead and develop others, read and comprehend (in English) simple and complex instructions, correspondence and emails, strong presentation/communication skills, ERP/spreadsheet experience • Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure while using whole numbers, fractions, decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw/interpret pictorial graphs
